Google Pixel 8 Pro Becomes The First Google AI Phone Thanks To New Update
The Google Pixel 8 Pro was launched two months ago and has people going gaga over it. With amazing features and performance, it’s one of the best Android phones you can buy now. Or, if you want something on a budget, the Google Pixel 7A will also be a good buy.
However, Google just updated its software, introducing various new AI features. These features will make the Pixel Pro 8 smarter than ever, cementing its status as the best Android smartphone.

Smart Replies
If you want to try the new Gboard Smart Reply feature on the Pixel 8 Pro, you need to go to Settings > Developer Options > AiCore Settings and toggle "Enable Aicore Persistent".

Google finally rolled out its much anticipated and hyped Gemini AI model to power all its AI tools. While this greatly enhances the use of Google Bard, it also introduces this in the Google Pixel Pro.
If you turn this on from the Android Developer Options menu, you can give instantaneous replies while texting. Your Google keyboard will automatically recommend smart replies on social media, WhatsApp, or any other messaging tool.
Camera Enhancements
The Google Pixel Pro 8 already has a good camera. However, it’s getting new camera features that use AI in the best way possible.
The first new feature is AI Video Boost. If you have this turned on, every video you click will get automatically uploaded to your Google Drive. There, the video will be enhanced using AI, which includes automatic color correction, stability adjustment, grain removal, and size compression.
AI will also improve Night Sight, where any noise in the video will be automatically adjusted if you shoot a video in Night Mode.
In addition, the Portrait Lighting feature of Google Photos will also get a new Balance Mode that will remove all harsher shadow effects. Additionally, AI will enhance the Photo Unblur feature, boosting it’s performance.
