When Apple released the iPhone 15 Pro and its Pro Max variants recently, they weren’t lying about them being the best gaming smartphones in the market. Now, they will cement this factor by releasing AAA games like Resident Evil Village (2021) and Resident Evil 2 Remake (2023) for them.

Powered by the latest A17 Bionic chips, these phones are capable of running high-end AAA games pretty well, similar to the Steamdeck, Asus ROG Ally, and the soon-to-be-launched Lenovo Legion Go.

Resident Evil Village (2021) will be released for Mac computers, MacBook laptops, some select iPads, and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Its release date has already been announced to be on October 30, 2023 – the day before Halloween.

This game is the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Here you control Ethan Winters, who goes to a haunted mutated village to search for his kidnapped daughter.

On the other hand, Apple will delight iOS gamers with Resident Evil 4 Remake as well. This game will also come out for the same devices, though its release date hasn’t been announced yet.

This is the remake of the now-legendary Resident Evil 4 (2005) released for the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube. This game received universal acclaim upon its original release and has often been called the best Resident Evil game of all time.

In this game, you control US agent Leon Kennedy, who travels to the haunted village of the Los Illuminados cult, who have kidnapped the daughter of the US President.

Let’s see how well these AAA games run on these devices. How well do you think they will run? Let me know in the comments below!
