Apple Is Pulling Out The Apple Watch Series 9 And The Apple Watch Ultra 2 From Stores By This Weekend

If you plan on buying the Apple Watch Series 9 or the Apple Watch Ultra 2 this holiday season, you have only two days to do so. Why? Both these devices are banned from sale due to a parent dispute as judged by the ITC (International Trade Commission).

Apple has a patent dispute with medical tech maker Masimo over using its SpO2 sensor. It’s a blood oxygen level sensor that was introduced on the newer Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

ITC has banned its sale on the US markets because the California Central District Court has ruled in favor of Masimo, claiming that Apple has infringed the use of Masimo’s SpO2 sensor.

However, Apple spokesperson Niki Rothberg has this to say:

“Should the order stand, Apple will continue to take all measures to return Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 to customers in the US as soon as possible.”

However, if you live outside the US, there is no need to worry. This ITC ban is only for the US market. You can still buy the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 everywhere else.

If you wish to buy the Apple Watch Series 9, place your orders before December 21! Order it now from Amazon or BestBuy for less than $399!

If you wish to buy the Apple Watch Ultra 2, place your orders before December 21! Order it now from Amazon or BestBuy for less than $749!
